For those who want to know more
Injectable amino acid and hyaluronic acid treatment intended to support hydration and extracellular matrix activity.
At a glance
Appointment: Often 30 to 45 min. Plan: Usually a planned course. Downtime: Short lived bumps or bruising. Results: Gradual, not volumising.
Indicative guide only. Exact timing, course, recovery and suitability are confirmed after assessment.
How it works
The mechanism, without the marketing
Sunekos combines hyaluronic acid with selected amino acids and is used as an injectable skin quality treatment. It is intended to support hydration and the skin's extracellular environment rather than create the projection associated with dermal filler. It may be discussed for fine, crepey or tired looking skin when a subtle, progressive approach is preferred.
What we assess
The details that change the plan
Whether the concern is fine skin quality or deeper volume loss
Skin thickness, hydration, laxity and the treatment area
Previous injectables, tendency to swell and medical suitability
The relative value of Sunekos compared with polynucleotides, Profhilo or device treatment
Before, during & after
What the appointment may involve
Before, assessment: We identify the visible change you want and explain where a skin quality injectable is likely to be too subtle or simply the wrong tool.
During, treatment: A series of small injections is placed according to the treatment plan. Numbing and technique are adapted to the area.
After, recovery: Raised points, bruising, tenderness and swelling are possible. The skin should be kept clean and aftercare followed while injection sites settle.
Results, course & recovery
What changes, and when
The effect develops progressively and is usually evaluated after a planned course rather than after one session. The response can differ between areas and individuals, and maintenance is considered only after reviewing the initial value.
Limits, risks & alternatives
The part that should never be hidden
Sunekos does not replace structural filler, relax muscle movement or remove pigment and vessels. Risks include bruising, infection, prolonged swelling, inflammatory reaction and rare vascular complications. Another regenerative injectable, or a non injectable pathway, may offer a clearer fit after assessment.
