How it works
The mechanism, without the marketing
The Perfect Derma Peel is a medium depth blended chemical peel used for selected pigmentation, acne, tone and texture concerns. It creates a more visible peeling process than a light "lunchtime" peel. The strength of that response means preparation, aftercare and pigment risk assessment are central to the treatment, not optional extras.
What we assess
The details that change the plan
Skin type, melasma or post inflammatory pigmentation risk
Active acne, infection, eczema and barrier impairment
Retinoids, recent procedures, pregnancy status and healing history
Ability to follow a strict home protocol and tolerate visible peeling
Before, during & after
What the appointment may involve
Before, assessment: The skin may need preparation and active products may be paused. Timing is planned around work, events, travel and sun exposure.
During, treatment: The solution is applied in a controlled protocol. You leave with clear instructions for the following hours and days.
After, recovery: Tightness, darkening, flaking and visible peeling are expected. The skin must not be picked. Moisturising, prescribed aftercare and high level sun protection are essential.
Results, course & recovery
What changes, and when
Tone and texture are assessed after the peeling and recovery phase. More treatment is only considered after the skin has fully settled and the response is reviewed.
Limits, risks & alternatives
The part that should never be hidden
It is not suitable for every skin or season and cannot guarantee melasma clearance. Risks include prolonged redness, burns, infection, scarring and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation. A gentler peel, Cosmelan pathway, laser, medical skincare or no peel may be safer.

Still wondering?
Can I book this treatment immediately?
Treatment can only proceed after suitability, risks, alternatives and consent have been discussed. Your consultation is free and does not obligate you to proceed.
Will I need a course?
That depends on the indication and your response. We will explain what is essential, what is optional and when it is reasonable to review before committing further.
Are results guaranteed?
No medical aesthetic treatment can guarantee a specific outcome. We discuss likely benefit, uncertainty, downtime and risk before a decision is made.
