Appointment: Often 45 to 60 min. Plan: Usually a course. Downtime: Tenderness, bumps or bruising. Results: Assessed over months.
Indicative guide only. Exact timing, course, recovery and suitability are confirmed after assessment.
How it works
The mechanism, without the marketing
Hair polynucleotides are injected into selected scalp areas with the aim of supporting tissue repair, hydration, inflammation control and the environment around active follicles. They are not a hormone treatment and do not create new follicles. Their potential role is supportive and should be considered alongside the cause and stage of hair loss.
What we assess
The details that change the plan
Pattern, speed and duration of thinning or shedding
Scalp condition and signs of inflammatory or scarring disease
Blood tests, hormonal factors, medicines and family history
Whether medical therapy or specialist diagnosis should come first
Before, during & after
What the appointment may involve
Before, assessment: The scalp and hair pattern are documented. Unexplained or rapid loss is investigated rather than immediately treated cosmetically.
During, treatment: Multiple small injections are placed across selected scalp zones. Numbing and technique are adapted to sensitivity and density.
After, recovery: Tenderness, swelling, bruising and temporary bumps can occur. Hair washing and exercise advice is individualised.
Results, course & recovery
What changes, and when
The outcome is gradual and assessed through shedding, calibre and photographic density over several months. A course is commonly discussed, but treatment should stop if response is not meaningful.
Limits, risks & alternatives
The part that should never be hidden
Polynucleotides cannot reverse advanced or scarring hair loss, correct iron or thyroid deficiency or replace evidence based medical therapy when indicated. Risks include infection, inflammation, allergy and poor response. PRP or PRF, LED, medication, dermatology or transplant assessment may be alternatives.

Still wondering?
Can I book this treatment immediately?
Treatment can only proceed after suitability, risks, alternatives and consent have been discussed. Your consultation is free and does not obligate you to proceed.
Will I need a course?
That depends on the indication and your response. We will explain what is essential, what is optional and when it is reasonable to review before committing further.
Are results guaranteed?
No medical aesthetic treatment can guarantee a specific outcome. We discuss likely benefit, uncertainty, downtime and risk before a decision is made.
