How it works
The mechanism, without the marketing
Exosome scalp microneedling combines controlled needling of the scalp with a selected topical regenerative preparation. The microneedling creates channels and a wound healing signal; the applied product is intended to support follicle and scalp signalling. Product quality and evidence vary, so this should never replace a proper diagnosis of hair loss.
What we assess
The details that change the plan
Whether follicles are still active and the pattern is suitable
Scalp inflammation, infection, psoriasis or scarring
Possible iron, thyroid, hormonal, nutritional or medication related causes
Product provenance, intended application and realistic evidence
Before, during & after
What the appointment may involve
Before, assessment: Baseline assessment and investigations are considered first. The exact product and the uncertainty around expected benefit are explained.
During, treatment: The scalp is cleansed and microneedled at controlled depths before the preparation is applied according to its protocol.
After, recovery: Tenderness, redness, pinpoint bleeding and temporary shedding or irritation may occur. Scalp aftercare is kept simple while the barrier recovers.
Results, course & recovery
What changes, and when
Any improvement is expected over months, not days. A planned course may be used, but continuation should depend on documented response and tolerability.
Limits, risks & alternatives
The part that should never be hidden
This treatment cannot revive absent follicles or treat scarring alopecia without specialist care. Clinical evidence for aesthetic exosome products remains developing. Risks include infection, inflammation, allergy, pigment change and no benefit. Medical treatment, PRP or PRF, LED, transplant assessment or referral may be preferable.

Can I book this treatment immediately?

Will I need a course?
That depends on the indication and your response. We will explain what is essential, what is optional and when it is reasonable to review before committing further.
Are results guaranteed?
