At a glance
What it is
Microneedling combined with a topical regenerative formulation to support recovery and skin quality goals.
For those who want to know more
Microneedling combined with a topical regenerative formulation to support recovery and skin quality goals.
At a glance
Appointment: Often 60 min. Plan: Usually a planned course. Downtime: Redness and sensitivity. Results: Gradual; evidence is evolving.
Indicative guide only. Exact timing, course, recovery and suitability are confirmed after assessment.
How it works
The mechanism, without the marketing
This pathway combines controlled microneedling with a selected topical regenerative preparation marketed as containing exosome related signalling material. Microneedling itself creates micro channels and a repair response; the additional product is intended to support recovery and skin quality. Product provenance, formulation and regulatory status matter because "exosome" products are not all equivalent.
What we assess
The details that change the plan
Whether microneedling is appropriate for the skin and concern
Active inflammation, infection, pigmentation risk and healing history
Exactly which product is being used and how it is intended to be applied
Whether the added cost is justified compared with standard microneedling
Before, during & after
What the appointment may involve
Before, assessment: The skin and product are assessed separately. We explain which part of the proposed benefit comes from microneedling and where evidence for the added preparation remains less certain.
During, treatment: Microneedling is performed using a sterile cartridge, then the selected preparation is applied according to its intended protocol. It is not injected unless specifically licensed and appropriate.
After, recovery: Redness, warmth, dryness and sensitivity can occur. Post treatment skincare is kept simple while the barrier recovers, with strict sun protection.
Results, course & recovery
What changes, and when
Improvement is expected to be gradual and should be assessed with consistent photographs. A course may be suggested, but treatment is paused if the response, tolerability or value is not convincing.
Limits, risks & alternatives
The part that should never be hidden
It cannot guarantee scar removal, lifting or a superior result to well performed microneedling alone. Evidence and product regulation are still evolving. Risks include irritation, allergy, infection, pigmentation change and scarring. SkinPen alone, RF microneedling, laser, peels or medical skincare may be clearer alternatives.

Still wondering?
Can I book this treatment immediately?
Treatment can only proceed after suitability, risks, alternatives and consent have been discussed. Your consultation is free and does not obligate you to proceed.
Will I need a course?
That depends on the indication and your response. We will explain what is essential, what is optional and when it is reasonable to review before committing further.
Are results guaranteed?
No medical aesthetic treatment can guarantee a specific outcome. We discuss likely benefit, uncertainty, downtime and risk before a decision is made.
